Stay Home and Read This! A Coronavirus Reading Sampler (April 10, 2020)

We are offering our top 10 selections, probably daily, of the best articles and podcasts on COVID-19 and American policy responses.

Overall our reading leads us to think there ARE and SHOULD BE "libertarians in a pandemic," and that indeed non-libertarian policies are what make responses to the pandemic inadequate.

1) Walmart invests $425 million to open stores in Wuhan, China.  Ironic because a friend of the owner of American Libertarian told us years ago that When Rose Law Firm attorney and First Lady of Arkansas Hillary Clinton broke the glass ceiling at Walmart by becoming their first female member of the board of directors, she became the tie-breaking vote to end their "Buy America" policy.

2) Hydroxy hysteria a symptom of Trump Derangement Syndrome.

3) "The War on Coronavirus" could be another permanent expansion of big government

4) Local governments shut down "parades" of teachers even though socially distanced in cars.

5) How coronavirus jumped from China to Europe.

6) African countries close borders to Europeans.

7) Like always, state governments are blocking voluntary self help groups from feeding and housing the homeless.

8) Trump should reopen the economy and recognize his base's right to work.

9) The Obama administration depleted the U.S. of medical masks.

10) Tea Party group petitions for ending economic lockdown.
