Stay Home and Read This! - A COVID-19 Reading Sampler (April 2, 2020)

We are offering our top 10 selections, probably daily, of the best articles and podcasts on COVID-19 and American policy responses.

Overall our reading leads us to think there ARE and SHOULD BE "libertarians in a pandemic," and that indeed non-libertarian policies are what make responses to the pandemic inadequate.

1) U.S. death rates may be leveling off.

2) Socialized medical systems did not perform well in the pandemic.

3) Sweden criticized for not having state imposed lockdowns.

4) Regulatory relief that would help in the pandemic.

5) Downtown businesses from D.C. to San Francisco board up windows.

6) Intelligence agencies says China lied about coronavirus outbreak.

7) Comparing mortality statistics before and after COVID-19.

8) Net neutrality abroad has frozen the internet during COVID-19, but U.S. internet is operating much more smoothly.

9) Two states refuse to shut down local economies.

10) Regulation prevents producing enough masks.
